I have a meeting that I have invited other to and have
received their responses.  After the fact I was asked to
invite someone new to the meeting.  I added the new
person's name, and then clicked the envelope button next
to each person that had alread responded and chose "don't
send meeting to this attendee".  I thought that only the
new person would get the meeting request and the other's
would not receive anything.

I clicked on Save and Close and was asked if I wanted to
send the meeting only to those added or deleted.  I said
yes.  I thought that JUST the new person would get the
meeting request....WRONG...the got the invitation, but
everyone else received a meeting cancellation!!!!

Don't do anything, just add the new attendee and select to send update.  It
will ask if you want to just send the update to the added person, say yes.

It is also very helpful to prvide teh version of Outlook that you are using
since each has a slightly different method for doing the same things. The
above is for Outlook 2000 on Exchange.
