In my business as a Realtor I want to be able to see deadlines for each
transaction without going in and setting it up manually every time. For
example, a contract is accepted on the 1st of the month so I set up the
clients name on the 1st. Is there a way for it to automatically program a
reminder for 7 days later to do item A, 14 days after the 1st to do item B,
17 days after the 1st for item C and so on...

You may find that searching for an addin for Realtors is a good start.  Try
a look at add-ins at www.sliptick.com - there are many industry specific
ones there.
