We have a public folder which is our MOT diary for the company, but we are
having an intermittent problem.
2 everyday recurring appointments have been created for 10:00 to 11:00 and
13:00 to 14:00 everyday.
The people go into these recurring appointments and change the subject line
depending on who books in their car.  From time to time the dat which appears
is no the dtae they are asking to change.  We have in the past asked them to
re-creat the reoccurance, but this is a quick fix and they are now asking to
the problem to be looked at in more detail.
I have not a clue as to why this would heppen, but personally I am not sure
it likes the subjected chang every day.

We are running Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003.

Any ideas would be greatly recieved.

If you are changing it daily, you really should use individual appointments,
not recurring ones.  The easiest way to do this is to export a calendar
containing the recurring appointments to excel and import it. The export
breaks them into individual appointments.
