I have my calendar options set so reminders will show when calendar is not
running.  When my reminders come on, they blink, but they are minimized and
do not pop up on my screen which means I sometimes do not notice them.
Isn't there a way to get them to pop up on top of whatever application is
running?  Also, is there a way to set a unique sound option so reminder
could be heard if away from computer in another room?  What good are
reminders if they cannot be noticed?

Windows Vista Mail and Outlook are two completely separate programs.  Suggest you repost to a Windows Mail group, most likely found in the Windows Vista list of news groups.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Michelle asked:
