Linking an appointment to a contact

Using Outlook 2007, I want to create various appointments and link them to
my contacts so that at a later date I can check each contact and have a list
of past and future appointments listed under the activities menu. Is this
possible?

Yes. you need to enable the contact field in tools, options.
