2003 Outlook - Can I create another Calendar for other purposes?

Can be locally (hard drive) maintained, just need another Calendar.

Yes, just create another folder that holds appointment items. Note that
without an addin no reminders will be created out of that folder.

Thanks for the info, Vince, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean on
creating another folder.  I need another calendar and I'm aware that this
calendar would not work as my networked calendar does, and that's okay.  But
when I tried to File | New | choose another calendar, there is no calendar
icon to choose (as there are for mail message, appointment, etc.)  I guess
that's the question, in Outlook 2003, are you able to create another
dissassociated calendar?

File>New>Folder.  Make sure the "Folder contains" drop-down says "Calendar
Items".

File->New->Folder->Type->Appointments.
