All Day Event Free/Busy Status

My last post on this issue was three months ago with no response, so I
figured I'd give it another shot.

I have two recurring all-day events on my calendar in OL2003. The events
occur for four straight days every other week (basically my work schedule -
I work Tues to Fri one week and Wed to Sat the next). In the options for the
series, I set up the time to be marked as Busy, so that it will show up on
monthly views of the calendar as a day containing an event. I do synch my
calendar with ActiveSync to an IPAQ 1910 and back to another computer
running
OL2007.

For some reason though, these two recurring events frequently lose their
Busy status and revert back to Free time. I do not change the status at any
time
on either PC or my PocketPC. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Is there
something I am doing that inadvertently changes the Busy status?

Thanks,
Merg

Today's problems don't worry me,
I haven't solved yesterday's yet.

Is this happening when you sync with Outlook 2007?

I can't say exactly when it occurs. Things will synch fine for a bit and
then all of a sudden I'll notice that the all-day event is listed as Free
Time. The machine with OL2007 used to have Outlook XP. This issue occurred
back then too, although the second machine has always had Outlook 2003. I'll
try to keep an eye of the issue to see exactly when the all-day event loses
its "Busy" status.

Okay. It happened again, kinda. I plugged my IPAQ into the charger and
performed a synch on the computer with OL2007. Prior to putting the IPAQ in
the charger, I checked the events on the IPAQ and they were listed as
"Busy". After the synch, the events in OL2007 are listed as "Free", although
the events on the IPAQ are still "Busy". I'm guessing that as soon as I tell
the IPAQ to re-synch, it will be updated to show the events as "Free". Well,
I had it re-synch and nothing changed on the IPAQ. I then even modified a
simple calendar event in OL2007 and nothing changed on the IPAQ regarding
the Busy/Free status. I then just went ahead and corrected the Busy/Free
status in OL 2007.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm not sure, but maybe a repair of Outlook might help.

Okay. I checked the IPAQ and the computer with OL2003 prior to doing a synch.
Both had the all-day events marked as Busy. I had it perform a synch and when
done, both had the all-day events as Free.

Any ideas please?
