How do I copy appt from one cal to other with recurrance intact?

In Outlook 2007, when I drag and drop an appointment from one calander to the
other in the side by side view, the appt will copy but the recurrance does
not.
How can I fix this?

Display the calendars in a table view like By Category and try the
drag-and-drop.
