Meeting invite rcvd scrambled

I am running Outlook 2000 and the Sender is running Outlook 2002. When she
sends an Invite I get an email w/o the option to Accept etc. and instead get
a page full of scrambled or encrypted mess. On the other hand I am able to
send Invites successfully to her. Am I just too old, (the program that is...)
to use this tool?

Have her force Rich Text Format on invites - double click your address, properties->always use RTF.

After furious head scratching, Heidi asked:
