Is it possible to set the default duration of every appointment at 1 hour
rather than the current default of 30 mins.?

After furious head scratching, drdonpeden asked:

I originally saw that, but unless I'm missing something it Outlook 2007 does
not have an option to set the DEFAULT appoinment duration to 1 hour rather
than 30 mins.  What am I missing?

If you set the calendar's Time Scale to one hour, the default appointment
duration should be one hour as well.
