Here is our dilemma.  The owner of the shared calendar for our company uses
Exchange Server.  However, the laptop users in the field and the executives
use Outlook 2007.  How do we set it up with permissions so all users can
update the shared calendar?  We tried setting up the online shared calendar
but it doesn't allow anyone but the owner to update the calendar.

how are you setting up the online shared calendar?

The sharees need to have editor or greater permissions on the shared
calendar folder. You can do this from Outlook  - the person who created the
calendar needs to right click on the shared calendar folder and choose
properties, then permissions.
