I want to import my task list (assignments) into my calender so I can see
when things are due.

Hi there.  That's a nice clear statement but you haven't asked a question or
told us your version, or anything much at all.  This will help you as a
starting point:

I have office 2003 using windows XP.  I am trying to import my list of
assignments which have been put into Task into my calander.  I would also
like to print out my calender showing all of my assignments and scheduled
appointments (class days)  Thank you for your help

2003. Good.  But now you have confused me about Tasks and Calendar.

Are the Items Tasks or Appointments?  There are a few ways to find this out:

Click the Tasks Folder and see if they are there.

Open one and see what the top left corner says.

Tell me what exactly you are looking at (folder and View) and what it isn't
doing that you want it to do.

I want to incorporate my tasks into my calender of appointments.  That way I
will know what tasks will need to be completed prior to my appointment?  if
that makes any sense.  I have made all of my homework assignments tasks that
are due on a specific time which would be the day of the appointment.   So I
would like to be able to see all of my tasks and at the same time see all of
my appointments on one calender view?  I would hope that I could print out
each month and it will include all of my tasks and appointments on one page.
It seems like it could be done but Im not too sure how.   Thank you for your
help.

In 2003 you can see the Tasks and Calendar items side by side.  Go to your
Calendar, then View | TaskPad will turn on the TaskPad beside the Calendar.

You can print the Calendar with or without Tasks - have a look through the
settings.

I also have an older version on Outlook.. Just bought a new computer and
bought the current version of Windows Outlook.. It was quick and easy to
import contacts through Plaxo, but how do I get my calendar items
(appointments)??

They are in your pst file, which presumably, is sitting on your old
machine.Presumably you want all your old email as well as your contacts?

Never import and export when moving data from one Outlook to another.  See
