If I send an appointment at 11:00 am California (PDT) to someone in PA (EST),
how does the appointment show on their calendar? 8:00 am or 11:00 am?

It should appear on their calendar @ 2 p.m.  PA is 3 hours ahead of CA so
when it is 11:00 a.m. in CA it will be 2 p.m. in PA.
