I am using MS Outlook 2003, Professional Edition, SP2. I would like to
reduce the number of hours visible in the calendar to 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. I
believe there is a setting which exists but I have not found it.

There is no such setting. In the Day view, Outook will always display all
24 hours, displaying your working hours in a different color than the
non-working hours.

Thank you so much for the input. I could have sworn the screen was limited
to only a work day but must have had the reading pane on at the bottom.
Thanks again for the quick reply!

I had the same question, and you answered it. So, is there another way to
solve the following problem- I keep my Outlook calendar open in a small pane
on my desktop at all times. I can shrink it so only my working hours are
visible, but invariably when I am in Calendar, I inadvertantly scroll up or
down into the unused portions of the 24 hour day. This is a pain in the
neck. I used an older version of Calendar at my former company, and I could
swear that resetting my work day hours changed what was visible.... Anyway,
is there a way to freeze the view from scrolling? Probably not, but I
thought I'd ask. Thank you.

No, you can't freeze the frames.
