Is it possible to view ALL appointments (regardless of the view) ANYWHERE,
ANYWAY at-a-glance... without changing views or scrolling through an entire
day?

Which Version of Outlook?
The Outlook To-Do Bar can help a little with Outlook 2007 but is limited.
