The yellow highlighting is not showing up on the small calendar on the side
of my large calendar that displays the selected time period (day, week,
month, etc.).  Any thoughts.

Does it help if you change views then back again?
Are you using any special colour scheme?

No-no change.  I tried using the Detect and Repair to restore the defaults
but it still isn't showing up.  I'm using a standard Windows XP scheme.

If you manually select multiple days in the Date Navigator are they shown as
highlighted?
As a test, create a new profile and see if it is any better.

No they don't show up, that is the exact problem.  I added a new .pst folder
with a calendar and still no luck.  I also created an entirely new profile
and, you guessed it, no luck.

Sorry, I can't be of any help on this . I haven't seen the issue before.
