Is there a way to set/lock the displayed order of calendars?

I want my calendars to remain in a particular order.  I can change their
order when working in the calendars.  However, once I completely close the
program and reopen later, the calendars return to their previous order -- not
the one that I assigned.  Is there a way to lock the order of calendars to be
displayed in the side bar of the Calendar page?

Where are you doing and seeing this?  Which view?

I am in calendar view.  The left sidebar contains a list of many calendars.
I keep calendars for several physicians.  I'd like for the calendars to
remain in a particular order but I found that when I close the program, the
view returns to an order set, I guess, when the calendars were first
opened/created.

Put them in your "Shortcuts" view and they should remain in the order you
select.  I don't think you can determine the order in the Calendar view.
