Running Outlook 2003 w/SP2 when receiving a SINGLE appointment, it adds it to
the candendar as a RECURRING appointment.   If you send the appointment to
two people, one it works correctly, but for the one user it is recurring.
We've rebuilt the profile and removed and reinstalled Outlook, but the
problem continues.  it is consistent and happens on ALL appointments.

I believe this is a problem caused by the Media Direct Outlookaddinsetup on
your PC, which I'd wager is a Dell.  Uninstall that application from Control
Panel's Add or Remove Programs.
