MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / September 2007No more calendar view
For some reason I can no longer see my calendar in Office 2003. I don't know what happened, but when I'm in Office and I click on the Calendar all I see is the view of the last module I was in (Contacts, Tasks...) and not my Calendar. There is a link where the folders should be that sats "Open a shared calendar..." but clicking on it opens the Add New Contact dialog box. Thankfully, I was able to open my Outlook.pst file on another computer and save all my Calendar entries, but I need this to work on my laptop so I can sync my PDA and cell phone. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Outlook module, deleting my Outlook.pst file, deleting the PDA software, but still no Calendar. try resetting the view - go to the view menu, current view... customize. The info is there because I can see it when opening the same .pst file on another computer. When clicking on the Calendar button (lower left) the only thing that shows is whatever module I was in last (Contacts, Mail, Tasks...) It makes absolutely no sense. The problem started shortly after I started syncing my cell phone with Outlook. previously I had been syncing a PDA with no problems and I snced the cell phone several times with no problem.
