I'm new to using exchange and want to know if it's possible to set it up so
that some users (rather than resources) calendar auto accepts meeting
requests?

I'm wanting to setup a number of 'virtual users', invite them to a meeting
and for exchange to automatically accept the meeting and record the meeting
in the 'virtual users' calendar.

Sounds like a strange thing to do, but I have strange client who wants this
functionality.

Many thanks (in advance)

Craig

Click Tools>Options>Calendar Options>Resource scheduling and check the box
labeled "Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations"

Will that work for Users or just resources?

I think it will work for both, (certainly for users) but you may have to log
in once as the resource to set it.  I'm not familiar with resource mailboxes
to say for sure.

Having read the doc on the Auto Accepting tool from MS, it will work for
users (and resources) but it's not recommended for users, as it will delete
mails for them.  This is not an issue for me and these 'virtual users' won't
being getting any emails apart from meeting requests.

Thanks for your help.
