I'm trying to share my calendar but although others can view it they can't
edit my calendar.  How can I allow edits?

Gove them write permission.

Of course, I meant to type "give".

How do you give them write permission?

Right-click your Calendar and choose Sharing.  Give the people sharing your
calendar Create Items permission.  Does it work now?

Brian,
I am another person reading your answer.  I did the right click, but do not
see the 'write permission' anywhere.  Can you answer me in my user name
'Details Needed' with more specifics?

thanks

After right-clicking your Calendar folder, did you choose Sharing?  (Note
that I never once said "write permission".)  Are you using an Exchange
server?

By what means are you sharing it?
Sharing via the Office online service is read only.

In our organization, we are sharing our calendars via the Office online
service. Is there any tool which would allow editing the calendars from more
PCs without using the Exchange server? Either via the internet or via our
small internal network?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my technical details:

We are using Office 2007 - Outlook 2007

BillR already advised you that sharing via Office Online is read-only.
