We would like to share everyone’s calendar or have one general calendar for
everyone to enter their schedules (about 30 employees). Most people have
Office 2003 some Office 2007, a Windows Server 2003 Domain.

Do we need Windows SharePoint Services? Or is there another way? If we need
SharePoint is that a download or do we need to purchase it as an add-on to
our server?
Thanks

Hi Terry,

>> Do we need Windows SharePoint Services?

You could use a SharePoint Server.
information about SharePoint Server:
http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/default.mspx
you have to buy licenses for the clients (Client access licenses).

>Or is there another way?
You could use an Exchange Server:

or other Outlook sharing solutions:

Maybe it helps.

sharepoint services should do it if you don't have exchange and don't want
to invest in it. It's certainly worth trying - if it doesn't meet your needs
try one of the other solutions.  Outlook 2007 would give you the best
result...

Our company is using ShareO (http://shareo.4team.biz/?
pcode=608310193bh66vm) for such purpose. It works great for us and was
relatively easy to set up. You may take a look closer.
