I used the manual duplex printing option in Outlook 2003 to print 2-page weekly calendars correctly for my day planner. This is not possible printing 'odds' and 'evens', and the feature appears to be missing from Outlook 2007. Is there a way to print on both sides of the paper manually (manual duplex) for calendar view in Outlook 2007? Thanks in advance! Have you tried using the Calendar Printing Assistant for Outlook? It may have been included in your Office package...if not, go to Office Downloads at the Microsoft site and get it (it's free). You can do duplex printing through the CPA. Thanks in advance! Thank you for this advice. The CPA is certainly a neat product and I was unaware of it, so thank you for this info! However, it still doesn't do manual duplex, and doesn't print 2-up correctly. I am trying to print for a day planner that uses 5.5" x 8.5" pages (1/2-letter). When I printed from Outlook 2003 using Manual duplex, it ended up printing 4 pages per sheet of paper in 'booklet' form. I cut the paper, punched holes using a hole punch, and it worked perfectly. With OL2007, this ability is gone, and with the CPA, if I try to print to 5.5" x 8.5" (or even to 'letter booklet'), it prints the wrong orientation so you still use 1 sheet per page. Back to OL07 -- I found it funny when trying to print a tel/adds list that one of my choices was 'booklet'. I chose this and printed, and got a dialog box suggesting I enable duplexing (even though duplexing wasn't an available option). Currently, the solution is using FinePrint which works okay. I print from Outlook to letter-sized paper, then use FinePrint to make booklets out of it. But, I'd really like to be able to print directly from Outlook 2007 (or using the CPA) with at least the same level of functionality I used to have with Outlook 2003. I'm going to say 'yes' to rate your response highly, however I am still disappointed in Outlook itelf that they removed functionality between 2003 and 2007 (if that makes any sense). Thanks in advance! If FinePrint is doing the job for you right now, I'd say stick with it until maybe there is a better solution one day. You might want to post a "suggestion to Microsoft" that you want the manual duplexing to work again in Outlook 2007...to do this, go to the Office-specific web community portal at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx. Navigate to the Outlook section and choose the Calendaring group. When creating a new message, choose the "Suggestion for Microsoft" option. Type out your message as a suggestion -- be specific in what you want and need. When your message appears in the community after posting (it may take a while), there will be a disclaimer at the bottom that indicates it is a suggestion for Microsoft, to let others know. They can vote on it, and the more positive votes it gets, the more likely Microsoft will consider some kind of fix or new strategy in later versions. Thanks in advance! Thanks again. FinePrint is okay - but not perfect. I prefer the look when Outlook 2003 printed directly to the printer. I will post a suggestion as you recommended below. Thanks. BTW, I found it interesting that Word 2007 has a checkbox for "manual duplex printing" on my print dialog box. Thanks in advance! I used to wonder why there were so many differences between Office products when it came to things like print options. Each product has its own design and development team at Microsoft, apparently, and perhaps they don't have to agree on everything, even though they package their products together. Thanks in advance! I wholeheartedly agree with your request for this functionality. I too used Outlook 2002 to print for my Franklin planner. While I have not yet tried Fine Print, I have successfully gotten the calendar to print through the CPA by cutting my 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half first, adjusting the paper size to 1/2 letter (5.5 x 8.5 inches) in the CPA, and then printing. However, the heading at the top of the page is cut off, and the calendar entries are truncated. Ugly solution, but the best I could find.
