Dear Steve

how to post questions: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=555375 .

So far we don't know:

what happens (exactly) when you try to open them?
what version you are running?
what changed from when they did work to when they stopped working? (software
updates, new devices added etc)

So it's hard to start helping you!

Good points Judy - thank you! Let's see:

1. "what happens (exactly) when you try to open them?" NOTHING! I'll double
click to open an even and nothing happens, even after waiting. I right click
and click open and the same happens. I can't drag an event to another date. I
can, however, right click and delete an event but an new message comes up
that says that it may not be deleted - formerly a note came up that would say
"delete this single event or repeat events" or something like that.
2. "what version you are running?" Not sure but I believe 2003 (I'm at work
away from my home computer)
3. "what changed from when they did work to when they stopped working?" No
clue. I didn't add any software but did receive a notice that Norton was
updated automatically.
  --- Thank you ---
