Every year our local film society publishes a list of films. I then
laboriously enter each film into my calendar. I bet lots of other members
do too.
I would like their web site to
(a) Ask for me email addresses (two - because I like to get them in my work
and home calendars)
(b) Ask for how long a reminder I want (it takes me twenty minutes to get
there, ymmv)
(c) Then fire off the reminders to my email addresses.
(d) It would be good if the appointment could have the IMDB URL for the film
too.
But I feel I should not ask avolunteer for something which is
impossible/laborious.
So, can it be done and what is the easiest way?
Would the same solution be applicable to any other types of Calendars (one
does not want to be too MS-centric).
TIA,
Bill

Check out www.icalshare.com - are the calendars there (minus reminders)
something like what you want?
