you need to show the taskpad - look on the view menu. if the calendar is
not at the top of the taskpad, pull the top edge down 1 or more calendar
height.

Is there anyway to hide the taskpad? Or is always there? And thanks by the way.

you can pull the bar that separates it and the little calendars to the
bottom if you want the thumbs on the right but not show the tasks.
