How do I open Outlook Calendar to default display of weeks & months rather than
one day at a time?

Click the weekly view button.  Outook should remember the setting.

  Thanks for responding. I wish it were that simple. The toolbar has
disappeared &
I have no buttons to click.

Reset that stuff by deleting %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat while
Outlook is closed.
