1)    Is there a way to identify CAL items that have an associated attachment?

2)    Is there a way to delete CAL items that are older than x days?

For both, display your calendar in a table view like By Category.  There
will be an attachment column that will show a paperclip for those entries
that have attachments.  Additionally, there will be Start and End date
columns that will allow you to readily identify the older entries.
