I was wondering if someone could assist me in scheduling a monthly events.  I
have something to add to my calendar due every month (recurring) on the 10th.
However, if the 10th is on a weekend I need it to populate the Friday before
the weekend.  I have searched online and cannot find the answer and was
hoping someone could help me here.

Hello,

Logical dilemmas like that are not supported by Outlook.  The only solution
I can see is writing a macro, or possibly even a custom form.  You may even
want to google around for a solution.

Wish I had better news.

Hello,

Logic like that is not supported by Outlook, sadly.  I suggest looking
around the internet for a custom addin to add that support, or writing a
macro for your own use.

I wish I had better news for you.
