The recurring Appointments or events suddenly changed from an all day event
to an 11.30pm to 11.30pm the next day showing as a 2 day appointent/event.
This has happened several times. Is there any way to fix this rather than
changing the years events individually?

You have a mismatch in the DST settings between Windows and Outlook.
Perhaps you neglected to install the 2007 DST updates for both WIndows and
Outlook.
