I've recently upgraded from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007.  However i
preferred the week view in 2003 where I could see all my appointments for
each day more easily without having to scroll down.  Is it possible to have
the 2003 week view in 2007?

At the top of the Calendar Window are three buttons: Day, Week, Month. What
happens when you click on the Week button?

it's a separate program - there should be an icon in the notification tray -
click on it.
