How Not Lose Past OL03 Appointments & Meetings When Change ALL?

I get frustrated trying to edit or recurring meeting when I lose the
exceptions or past meetings.  Does anyone know a way to avoid this?

There's no way that I know of not to lose those exceptions...sorry.

The only way is to export the recurring appointment (which will make it a
set of individual appointments in stead of one recurring appointment), then
import the set.
