We have  a real confusing combination of reminders in Outlook 2007.  We are
notified of some birthdays and anniversaries and not others, or birthday
reminders show up months after they occur.  Is there anyway to select groups
of contacts and then set reminders for a specific date event to ON or OFF?
Is there a way to reset all contacts to one or the other?  Is there a way to
view all pending reminders in a list to confirm if the settings are
accurate?  Thank you for any help with this issue?

on the last question: See
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/remindertime.htm - the only problem is
it won't show the *next* scheduled reminder on recurring events, only the
first. You can add the recurrence pattern field to see the pattern. It also
will not show the new time for snoozed appointments.

Off hand, I don't know of a way to set or change the reminder on a group of
events except maybe by code.
