Once the default label descriptions are edited, the arrange by category
doesn't work properly by listing the new label descriptions, why?

Because this feature is poorly written - you need to use the original label
names to do any clever stuff.  Make a New Calendar if you have forgotten the
original label names (Outlook will default to those there) just to see what
they were - not to use it.

Thank you, Judy.  As a experienced user I guessed that that is what was going
on, but I thought that Microsoft would have written a better routine than
that.  I guess we all make mistakes in our attempts to be creative.
