I'm trying to import Excel info into Outlook 2003 (I use Windows XP), but
when I go to "Import from another program or file," the box doesn't list
Excel. I've tried everything I can think of, including making sure that the
Excel translator is installed (it is) and even running a a "repair" of
Windows XP...but nothing works. The box still lists only Act 2.0 and 3.0,
comma-separated values for Windows and DOS, dBase, ECCO, and Lotus.

Are the Outlook and Excel you have the same version? eg both from Office
2003?
Try detect and repair on Office.
