Our assistant uses outlook 2007 and she cannot open shared calendars of users
on Outlook 2003. The permissions are set correctly and we've added the
mailboxes to her Outlook. We only get the "cannot display folder" message.
Is this not possible across versions?

We use a hosted Exchange service but I don't believe that should matter.

Thanks.

This should not be a problem. How is she trying to view the
calendars? Example: clicking on their calendar in her FOLDER
VIEW or is she using the menu options?

We've tried both. Clicking on their calendar in folder list view and opening
a shared calendar. Same result.
