Find a file on your computer called archive.pst and open it in Outlook (File->Open->Outlook Data File)

I tried that earlier today but it doesn't show anything from my calendar...?

Then search for all .pst files and open them. If none of them have your data, oh well, that is the reason you make frequent backups, right?
