The word "updated:" blocks the title of calendar item subjects in     month view of Outlook

Is there anyway to turn off whatever is adding the word "Updated:" to
the subject of updated Calendar items in Outlook other than removing
them manually?  I use the month view and all i see is the word Updated
all over every day instead of actually seeing the beginnings of the
real subjects.
