I have built a fairly large CSV file with a lot of appointments and was
attempting to use the MeetingOrganizer with my name/email so that everytime
that the date changes, everyone that imported it would get the updates.
Similarly, if I were to export my calendar to a CSV, if I import it on
another computer, I lose the MeetingOrganizer and RequiredAttendees. The
meetings then become disconnected from others, and I show no other resources,
nor do I get any updates. They become seperate appointments.
Is there any way to import the MeetingOrganizer or RequiredAttendees? If
not, why is that column/field even in the import/export CSV?
Thanks!

When you import/export you lose MAPI data associated with the appointment
that tracks appointments and keeps them updated. If you feel the need to
share them in this manner, try using a pst for exports or forward the
appointments by email (vcal format).
