I have two computers both running Windows XP Pro SP2 and Outlook 2003 SP2.
The user has relevant permissions on calendars. The requirement is to be
able to copy quite a few one calendar items to another..

On one computers Outlook when user drags the calendar items to another
calendar it puts a copy of the item. This is what exactly I want to achieve.

However on second computers Outlook when user drags the calendar items to
another calendar it moves the item all together.

Question : what settings on Outlook are required to make copies of the items
when dragged to another calendar.

Outlook will always move items if you left-click and drag.  If you hold CTRL
while you left-click and drag, it will be a copy.  Alternatively, you can
right-click and drag and be given the choice when you release the mouse
button.
