I've just published an online calendar for use with my construction company.
The idea is to allow my admin manager and I to view and change my calendar
either using Outlook '07 (most preferebale option) or the internet version at
will.

Is there a way to do this, whenever I try to do it, I get the message that I
can't open the read only file.

Any advice would be appreciated.

That's the one MAJOR fault with this function - you cannot edit
subscribed-to Internet calendars. You can drag items from the subscribed-to
calendar to your local calendar, but not the other way round. As I said, a
MAJOR MAJOR failing.
the only way I've found to do this is to publish a calendar on your internal
network, setting up a shared folder as a WEBDAV folder.
