This is the message I get when trying to open a calendar item which has been
made to recur. It doesn't matter what the parameters of the recurrence are.
It won't open. I can delete it but that is all. However I can open and alter
the item on my (synched) PDA. I am running Outlook 2002 on Vista having just
upgraded my computer and operating system (from XP). I guess it is a Vista
issue as i have not had the problem in 4 years of using it on XP, but can't
find any record of it anywhere. I have run scanpst and there are no errors.
The problem applies to all my calendar items which recur and any new ones
which I create whether on the PC or the PDA. But the PDA can open and alter
all of them.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

there are a number of issues with outlook 2002 on vista (including that its
not supported). Others have problems with recurring appointments, I can't
repro but I also can't sync the test system with my pda.

We don't know what other problems may exist with the various office
applications and recommend upgrading for best results. Vista supports
syncing with the vista calendar and mail applications if you don't want to
upgrade.
