How do I delegate meetings to other people? Lotus Notes can do it

I receive an invitation for a meeting that I cannot attend, but want someone
else to attend in my place.
How do I do this with Outlook 2003? Lotus Notes deals with it very well.

Why not forward the invitation to the other person?
