Using Vcalendar specifications, does anyone know how to add an Appointment to
Group Calendar in Outlook?

I am able to get an appointment to go to the current logged on user's
calendar.  But I need the appointment to go to a specific shared users
calendar.  Please help

Thanks,

Thomas

Group calendars are simply views of selected User's calendars.  Shared calendars are a different animal.

Perhaps if you were a bit more clear on what you want to do, it would help with an answer.

We have a web app that creates a vCalendar file on the fly ant let's the user
download it to their PC, there it is imported into the user's default
calendar. This works with no problems.

These users have a secondary Outlook calendar they share, let's call it the
"Sales" calendar.

What we want to do is modify the generated vCalendar file so it is imported
by default into the shared Sales calendar.

If you are in the shared calendar when you open the vCalendar file, doesn't
it same to the shared calendar?  if not, insterad of clicking Save and
Close, click File>Move to Folder and select the shared calendar.

Brian-No that did not work.  When the user has their Outlook open, in the
left panel are the folder listing.  Outside of their Outlook Mailbox Listing
is the shared calendar from a fake user called Legal.  So users see just the
legal users Inbox and Calendar.  If I click on the legal caledar, then go to
our website and click on the icon, I get a pop-up box that asks Do you want
to open or save this file? (Add2calendar.vcs)  I choose open and it opens my
calendar for the specified date, I need it to place the appointment in the
Legal calendar.  How can I do this?

Now click File>Move to Folder and specify the shared calendar.
