I know it has been asked before but it was a while ago. Is there a way of
doing a shift pattern that is not a 7 day pattern. mine is 4 on 4 off and I
really do not want to do that in Outlook for a whole year, especially as I
have to do different times too. Any help will save me the best part of a
day. Thanks
Outlook does not handle shift work. I don't know if using Excel to create
the appointments would help you much. You can use the fill features to set
the on/off pattern and possibly the hours pattern, if there is one. It would
be something like is shown here:

http://www.websetters.co.uk/WSAddIns/Repeat%20Appointment/index.htm can do
odd recurrences but I don't know how well it handles shifts.
