I set up a calendar that I want to share with my team.  I would like for them
to be able to open the calendar with out editing.  I tried it, and it just
sends to them and shows the contents in the body of the email.  I just want
them to be able to view it with read only rights. Is this possible?

how are you sending it? What version of outlook do you and they use? The
fact that the appointment is in the message body as text tells me something
is wrong - if you are sending the item with reminders, remove the reminder
before sending.
