Outlook calender adding an apt.

Last night I deleted an apt. in my calendar that was a recurring event.  I
wanted to delete just that occurrence but it deleted all.  My problem is that
now it will not allow me to add any more appointments what so ever.

you will need to provide a lot more information for someone to diagnose your
problem.  Please start with:

version of Outlook
what happens when you try to make a new appointment - be exact.
