can't open email attachment

there is this user who can't open an email attachment within the email. we
tried to double-click on it...nothing happens. we then right click and save
it to desktop and open it up from there and nothing happen. but we have no
other problem opening word, excel, powerpoint etc. attachment file.

so any1 know how to fix this problem? thx in advance.

Is it a valid attachment, meaning with a file extension. Try cleaning all
temp files off pc.
