Hi,

The idea is to simply remove the whiteboard at our office and use the
outlook to keep track of where people are during the day.
So instead of the whiteboard we want to put up a computer screen which shows
the days schedule in a nice manner for say 20-25 people. Just so we can renew
from the whiteboard.

So the question is if we can use this feature (if it exists) on a standalone
computer and say which peoples shedules we want to show (kinda like booking a
meeting only with information about locations as well).

If im unclear of my wishes, as I often am feel free to ask for explanation =)

version of Outlook is?
Do you connect to an Exchange Server?
Outlook 2007 can show Calendars side-by-side in one view which might suit
you. You could create multiple Calendars or  publish them somewhere (Office
Online would do) from each PC then give others access.

It is 2003, nd a centralized exchange server.
Is it possible to show it as a timeline for the people and information about
what meething it is? Kinda like the 2003 book for meeting where it shows up
what time the other people has appointments although not with the information
about where. So what I wan't is a timeline with a specified number of people
showing time and location in similar style to the add meeting tab.

You are limited with Outlook 2003. Free/Busy time can be published to an
Internet Server and accessed in a view similar to what you want but Calendar
Sharing and ultiple Calendar views are restricted.
You might look at Calendar sharing alternatives here:

Have you looked at the Group Schedules option?
