How do I export multiple shared calendar appointments into an Excel
spreadsheet?
Bob I - 07 Mar 2008 17:55 GMT
have you tried "File, Import and Export"?

Yes, I have.  It's exporting my calendar, not the shared calendar that I need
to export.

If this "shared" calendar is on the exchange server, I copy it to a temp
calendar in my account and export from there.

That's what I used to do before I got Outlook 2007.  I can't figure out how
to do that with the 2007 system.

Sorry, haven't played with the 2007 version yet. What does the F1 key
and "Export" or "Copy folder" reveal?

When I try to export or copy the calendars, the message comes up that it
cannot copy because there may be private items.

That's a bit odd, try opening them and look at the "private" box. In
2003 you can't set "private".

Copying the calendar works the same way in outlook 2007.

When I try to copy the calendars up into my calendar info, it says it can't
copy because there may be private items.  I have Editor permissions on all
these calendars.  Any ideas as to why I'm getting the message about private
items?

create a table view with the fields you want then copy and paste into Excel.
